I had family staying from the UK and I took them on the 1 hour cruise on the Steamboat, what a great way to hear about the local Kerikeri history - I hadn't realised what an important part the kerikeri inlet played in New Zealands history. We saw some of the beautiful houses/mansions along the Kerikeri river. It was such a peaceful informative tour, thank you to Alan and Sue. Great value and so enjoyable well worth it. As the cruise starts from the Stone Store Wharf it ties in perfectly with a visit to NZ's oldest building too. If your interested in the workings of a Steam Engine Alan is more than happy to show her off! Definately need to book in advance as she only takes small groups of people.
