Most people dream of making a living doing something they're passionate about, we were no different when we started Shadie Stables in our farm kitchen at Pukekohe in 1998. We never could have dreamed that our efforts would grow into the exciting, innovative business that Shadie Stables has become today.
Each of our products is hand-made by staff who share in the fun of creating new products and we are committed to our mission of culinary excellence.

Our favourite combination is the cashew dukkah and lime infused rice bran oil. Use the dukkah to coat fish or chicken that has been dipped in whipped egg white, heat the oil and fry until golden. Rice bran oil is nutritionally balanced and extra-cold filtered.
It is light and clean tasting, plus it contains the ingredient sterol oryzanol which has been shown to help the body reduce cholesterol absorption. It is high in antioxidants such as Vitamin E and high in GOOD mono and polyunsaturated fats, with a high smoke point (250 degrees Celsius) just right for grilling or frying.
There are 5 different flavour to choose from garlic, rosemary & garlic, lemon, chilli & garlic and lime. That will give you a perfect choice for any flavour sensitive frying or roasting applications. Of course just perfect for dipping with dukkah and bread.

(sniff!) (sniff!) I just used the last of my Lemon Infused Rice Bran Oil to make a pasta salad that everyone raved over! I have been treating it like liquid gold for the last two year, since my last visit to Auckland. I live 6900 miles away, and here, everything "similar" pales in comparison. Next visit: carry-on luggage will be entirely bottles of Shadie Stables oils. So I should get to the gym, that bag will be heavy, and oh so worth it!!! Thanks Barbara and crew!
