Almond House Backpackers is a fun, friendly, family run backpackers in central Nelson at the top of New Zealand's South Island.

Whether you want a bed in a dorm or your own private room, Almond Backpackers can accommodate you. All beds are fully made up. Relax and write your postcards around the swimming pool. Have a barbecue or use the well-equipped kitchen.

Take a trip to the Abel Tasman National Park or take to the hills in the Richmond Ranges or Kahurangi National Park. This inexpensive accommodation is centrally situated for wine tasting at the many vineyards and wineries. It is in a good location to experience flying, parachuting or hang-gliding.
