The school in Broad Bay (corner of Greig St and Roebuck Rise) has been around since 1877, and continues to be the focal point for the community. It�s known as �a small school with a big heart� � and we think that description fits well.
There are 53 pupils, who make up 3 composite classes, with 3.6 teachers who are committed to providing excellent learning experiences, utilising the opportunities afforded a school in the heart of the Otago Peninsula, in a diverse community rich in cultural and artistic expertise.
Opportunities for parental and community involvement in the school are high. Our vision for the school also includes achieving the highest standards of curriculum delivery, developing children�s inherent creativity, and retaining our strong family atmosphere.
Excellent Before and After School Care programmes are available locally and are highly regarded by both parents and children alike.
