"Thanks to monthly meetings with Hayes Knight, we anticipated the downturn and took corrective action that included changing our business model and finding a new bank with larger and more flexible funding lines.

In the 10 years since starting, we've worked with Hayes Knight to create not just a series of contracting jobs, but a genuine business. For example, they encouraged us to set a revenue target of $1 million per month, which I never imagined was possible. But then they showed us how we could involve staff to achieve the goal, which we did and then had a major party to celebrate.

We don't see them as just our accountants, it's like they're actually part of our business."

"The audit reports presented by Hayes Knight have been approved at our annual general meetings without questions or debate. Hayes Knight has advised Property Council on a number of successful business initiatives that have made significant improvements to how our organisation approaches banking and accountancy. Following your advice, we have now integrated our Branch and National Office banking systems, saving time and money. Hayes Knight also advised the Property Council to renew our treasury functions. We have done this and are now maximising our returns. The auditors at Hayes Knight have developed a close working relationship with our organisation. This has enabled the Property Council to audit our accounts in a smooth and timely manner. We highly recommend Hayes Knight to any business that requires accounting services." "To grow your business in the right way without losing focus you need the right advice. You want someone not just with technical skills but who shares your vision for growing the business. "The Hayes Knight name had come up a number of times, so we went and checked them out and we liked what we saw. "Hayes Knight wants things to deliver benefit to the business and if they can't see a compelling reason why something should be done, then they won't do it. For us, that's probably the most valuable thing about working with them. You become accustomed to running a company at a certain size, and when it triples, what used to be adequate is no longer enough.
