4th September 2014 Booked online prior to arrival, paid extra for out of hours transfer and collection.
called them on arrival, was told to wait outside for the pickup which would arrive shortly.
Waited in the wind and rain for 1.5 hrs, rang them repeatedly with no response, finally got through and was told I would not be collected that evening and I should take a taxi to my destination and be collected in the morning - not what I wanted to hear after almost 40 hours travel, and that I'd have an early start the following sunday morning. fortunately I was staying in Auckland. anyone who had planned to drive to another city would have found themselves utterly stranded by this company.
after the hire ended I was given an extra bill for $30 for them having to send my name and address in an email to a parking company for a parking charge that had been waived by the parking company!
they have refused to respond to my complaints or offered to refund the lost days hire and the unused out of hours collection fee.
I would strongly advise people to not be swayed by the low prices, I was badly let down and in my view ripped off by this company.

27th February 2011 Hired car - pick up experience good
Quality poor - rental form, with my name, that I signed had different vehicle and number plate to car I received.
Registration label on car was for another vehicle - a caravan to be precise.
On ringing them to discuss how to get the correct one - I was sent to the Post Office - I am in a foreign country - where is the Post Office? ISITE helped me here (not Scotties). At Post Office I have zero documentation to say I have this car so managed after five minutes to persuade them to give me the label.
On return to UK I was charged for speeding in a vehicle with a different number plate to any of the other cars I had been linked with.
Have discussed the above issues with the New Zealand Rental Association and New Zealand Transport Association. With their lack of interest it is not surprising the above happens.
Good car for cheap, with a nice service. what else ?
