29th November 2012 We love this cafe - in the mornings for a coffee and their Cinnamon scrolls or savoury scones. In the evening especially when Paul is cooking for the rack of lamb - infact most anything on the menu is yummy, fresh and well cooked. Prices are middle of the road
11th August 2013 This is the first time we write a review for food venue as we feel this place needs to know that what they do is not ok
We first stopped there for a lunch which was good so we came back for a dinner to find out that we should not come back again.
The table was not clean to the effect that we could not place our elbows on it. When we asked a waitress to clean it, we had to wait for about half an hour and ask again to watch her doing half of the table only. We asked to bring all food together so that we could share it and this was ignored as well. At the end we were presented with a bill 40% higher than it should be, so we had to come back and ask for a significant refund.
What bothers us most is the attitude though

8th February 2011 Menu biased towards fish of course which was fresh and yummy. Had two starters rather than a main Reasonable wine list. Good service which was not in our faces. Only disappointment was the hardness of the seats, cushions would have been nice. Would go back again - which is our criteria when rating an establishment- Prices reasonable $143 for food for four and wine $38.
