Cats in Clover Boarding Cattery

Our cattery provides the highest standards of care, cleanliness and accommodation. Cats In Clover is a place where you can leave your cats with confidence in the knowledge that they will be well looked after by an animal lover and former vet nurse whose first priority is the welfare of your pets.

Nestled in 1 1/2 acres of beautiful gardens, Cats In Clover Cattery is just 10 minutes from both the town of Kerikeri Northland and the Bay of Islands Airport. We offer 14 large private cat apartments, and two semi communal rooms, overlooking subtropical streamside gardens, rich with bird life.

Pickup/Dropoff service can be arranged by Appt.

All cats have snuggly bedding, and we provide lots of cuddles and companionship. Environment friendly products are used for disinfecting quarters after each cat stay.

We also offer other services such as grooming, emailing a video or photo of your cat to you. Dionne, a former Vet Nurse, can administer medication with safe and gentle handling techniques. All cats must have a vaccination Certificate to stay with us.

For a very modest charge a regular groom* removes all dead hair while improving the coat's condition. It includes claw clipping and ears and eyes cleaned. Where a more extensive groom** is needed, we can untangle and de-matt the most difficult of coats, usually without the need for shaving.

A Shed separate from the cattery is used for boarding for a whole range of other small animals here at Cats in Clover.

The types of small animals that we will care for include: Rabbits and Guinea Pigs, Birds and Ferrets, Rats and Gerbils, Hamsters and Chinchillas, Tortoise and Mice.
