A relaxed, friendly Cafe in Wellington's Civic Square. It has high chairs, childrens play area and great coffee too. Spend some time browsing the books at the library then grab a bite to eat.

16th November 2013 (In regards to the two comments below)I am commenting as someone who does not like a screaming baby in my ear when i'm trying to enjoy my food that I have paid for. It is so extremely painful and I think you are rude and inconsiderate if you do not remove your child. I would've gone up to you myself if I had been there. Sick of parents who just sit there and do nothing when you're ruining everyone's meal. People complained for a reason mate, the world does not revolve around you :)

15th May 2013 I will not be coming back to your cafe ever again as your staff are very rude! I was in there today being 15/05/2013 at around 1.30pm and my baby started to cry, not long after he started one of your staff members came over to me and my friend and told me that if my baby did not stop crying I would have to leave and take him to the parents room as others were 'complaining'. As a mother I have the right to take my baby where ever I please without having to worry that i will be told I will have to leave if my baby continues to cry! He is only 10 weeks old, however age does not matter in this situation, if a child is going to throw a tantrum or cry they will do it no matter what the age nor where they are! If people cant handle a baby cry they should stay at home, children are everywhere and be respected just as much as an adult!

15th May 2013 What an absolute disgrace, There is a young asian girl that was working there today Wednesday 15 may. She came up and told my friend that if her baby did not stop crying then she would have to leave. Absolutely disgusting, baby's cry its a part of nature. I will not be recommending this cafe to anyone, in fact I will discourage people from going there due to this fact!

29th November 2010 Lots of choice, here - especially in the sweets department. I had a chicken, brie and cranberry panini and was very happy with it. I enjoyed my hot chocolate as well. I like the atmosphere here, it is easy to hear your companions. I like the blue squares on the ceiling (it used to be just the fluffy insulations stuff - this is much better looking!) Have met people with small children here as the amenities are good (loos, lifts, play area).
Agree, no body wants to listen to your baby screaming. Inconderate!
