25th February 2011 Nice Coffee, beautifully presented cafe.
However our dishes/cutlery were all marked and dirty. Our food we ordered was not delivered, and upon our prompting the docket was found and the option of a refund offered. We suggested a refill on the hot drinks instead. We had the late food delivered staggered with coffee/tea on yet again dirty plates/cutlery.
Not likely to return to this cafe

21st December 2010 Love this cafe! I work in napier town and always find it very pleasant going to cappadonna. ive never had an experience as the others mentioned, the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The coffee is always great, there is always so much food to choose from and it all tastes and looks so good and fresh!Which dosent happen in napier very often. I can see why this is one of napiers busiest cafes, and even with that its always fast, i never wait to long at all.

16th November 2010 I can see where the person below me is coming from - service started out pretty badly, with the girl at the counter not even managing a smile. She did become more friendly though. The missing toilet was very annoying; I didn't need to go but my partner did. The public toilet he was directed to wasn't exactly luxurious.
However, the food was fantastic, we were spoilt for choice and our final selections (French toast and mushrooms on toast) were delicious with very generous portions. And the atmosphere, sitting outside, was lovely. They were also playing good music, which is always a plus for me.

10th November 2010 Looks pretty on the surface but the coffee was average. One of the most family-unfriendly places i have ever encountered. The service was shocking and the food and drink was over priced. I had a young baby and a 3 year old who suddenly needed to go to the toilet. We had just begun breakfast and as I was a tourist I had many belongings with me and a buggy. Not only did the cafe have no access to a toilet nearby but it took serious whinging before someone would direct me to one. All of the staff were sarcastic, unpleasant and no one even offered to look after our food while i dragged the whole shebang to the nearest toilet. I pleaded for my daughter to be able to use the staff toilet to no avail. Perhaps Primadonna would have been a better name?
Great cafe, great staff excellent service i dont go anywhere else
