16th June 2011 Why does it take one month to clear when payment has been made over the phone via credit card?
Can you please explain to me how a name is registered as bad debt (i.e. on line data system at the tap of a finger on keyboard) and if so, why does it take a month to clear when payment is made instantaneously.
Bad debt doesn't necessarily mean bad people...there a various legitimate reasons for debt not paid, and my certainly was not purposeful as we still deal with the company (big time) in which the debt was discovered from three years back.
You need to train your front line phone staff to treat people like people, just because you are dealing with debt, it certainly doesn't excuse the fact that your phone staff portray a rude, insubordinate attitude.

15th April 2009 Some of the operators (customer services) are very rude and not polite - in saying that, most I have spoken have been very helpful and treat you like a human rather than an account number.
