Waikare Golf Club is situated in the village township of Te Kauwhata, less than one hour's drive from Auckland and Hamilton to the South

It is a picturesque eighteen hole course with mature trees, native shrubbery and several interesting water hazards. Development work started on the course in 1930 and it now has a course length of 5182 metres, with a course rating of 66.9 for men and 70.2 for ladies.

The course is rolling to flat, with narrow, tree lined fairways and offers a very attractive variety of holes which can challenge both the low and high handicap golfer.
