The Auditorium

The Auditorium (29.5m x 14.5m) can hold up to 500 people and is used for a large range of activities such as shows, balls, expos, weddings, funeral services, huis, school productions, ballet, cabarets, martial arts, boxing, badminton etc to name just a few.

For shows and concerts we can provide comfortable bleachers (tiered seating), equipped with a brand new U1 piano, stage (7.6m x 13.8m), portable staging if required, front of house lighting and operators box.

Conference Room and Catering

The Conference Room (13.8m x 11.7m) plus stage recess (5m x 5.5m) is excellent for small meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, weddings and expos. Small shows are ideal here and can seat up to 200 people theatre style.

Equipment includes tables and chairs, whiteboard, OHP, screen, TV/Video and lectern. A data-projector is now available for hire. Fully carpeted, private and comfortable with air-conditioning – this is an excellent venue.

Past Shows & Activities

The Centre has had many well-known entertainers perform here, catering to a population of 24,000 residents around the Coromandel/Waikato district, with people coming from as far as Whangarei to watch a show. People such as Mike King, the Topp Twins, Royal NZ Ballet, Kenny Dale, Dennis Marsh, Rob Guest, Suzanne Prentice, Eddie Low, John Grenell and tribute performers such as ABBA, Queen, Elton John, The Rolling Stones and Beatlemania are among the many who have played here.
