23rd January 2013 This camping ground is in a lovely setting beside the Waitangi River. Grounds are beautifully kept, with lovely established trees, nice swimming pool and a playground for the children. Sites are large and well kept while hosts are friendly and helpful. Facilities are more than adequate, with plenty of showers, toilets and kitchen hot plates. A lovely place for a relaxing family holiday. We will definitely go again.
Tranquil camping ground in a tree-studded park-like setting next to the Waitangi River. Centrally located holiday park in the beautiful Bay of Islands only 10 minutes drive from Paihia or Kerikeri.
Large tree-studded park. The Waitangi River runs alongside one boundary and is safe for swimming and kayaking. We are located central to Paihia, Kerikeri and Waitangi (Maori history) and offer booking/pick-up point for tours; Cape Reinga/90 Mile Beach, Hole in the Rock, Swim with the Dolphins and fishing trips.
Self-contained Tourist Flats including bedding & towels, and well presented Cabins. Large recreation room, playground, flying fox, kayak hire, fish cleaning facilities, on-site shop, internet terminal. Dogs welcome by arrangement. Dump station. Ample room for boats and trailers. Ideal for social and educational tours.
