We are located in a spacious and quiet area in Taupo - away from all the lakefront traffic noise, just 4 minutes to the CBD and close to AC Baths, Spa Park, Taupo Bungy, Taupo Golf Course and the Taupo Events Centre.

Family Motel's friendly hosts will do their very best to make your family feel welcome and get the most fun and enjoyment out of beautiful Taupo.

Away from the main street we have a quiet motel and cabin complex in lovely garden surroundings. Designed to suit every budget, we are situated close to the AC Baths and Taupo Hot Springs, both Taupo Event Centres, trout fishing locations, golf courses, equestrian and motorsport venues, and other Taupo attractions.

Lake Taupo and the town centre with its restaurants and boutique shops are only a short 1km away and the ski fields, Tongariro Crossing, 42nd Traverse and tramping field are just over an hour's drive.

Stayed at the 'medium cabin standard'...Firstly we payed $75 per night where website stated $50 per night (ripped off), we payed for 2 nights, it was 'noisy' due to paper thin walls where you could hear the neighbours, the furnishings could of been picked up from a organics dump...fridge, microwave and oven appeared old and outdated, and it looked 'unhygienic' to use, we became 'itchy' while sleeping on beds, towels were old and tattered, we didn't bother to stay the next night...the only 'let down' to our trip!!!
