Went on a grabone voucher recently with a friend, arrived 30min early and was quite happy to sit in the waiting area and read a magazine. We were made to feel rather unwelcome when a staff member told us to go for a walk until our appointment time. The 'rooms' were separated by a thin curtain which the staff members talked through throughout our treatment. On the table, a layer of thick plastic was placed so we laid directly on it rather than towels / bedding. It was cold and uncomfortable. During my facial, the front door was wide open, traffic can be heard. At one point a customer had showed up at the front door and the beauty therapist was talking from the room out to this woman. While the actual massage and facial was fine, I did not find this experience relaxing atmosphere not the professionalism I would have expected from any day spa. I wound not return again even at a discounted price. Please, when you make a comment about a client to a fellow co-worker in a foreign language, I would suggest you first make sure your client does not understand that particular language.
