I recently rented a car from Apex for circa 2 weeks while we toured New Zealand. We have just returned to Australia and I just want to let you know
how pleased we were with the service we received from your company.
The initial booking process was excellent with the call facility and very friendly helpful staff who did everything possible to assist us through a number of
changes to plans.
The pick up from the hotel in Auckland was on time, the staff friendly and efficient. The car (whilst experiencing a few squeeks and groans from the suspension)
was reliable, economical and well presented. The staff in Queenstown were equally friendly and efficient, assisting with our return to the hotel at the
completion of our hire.
Unfortunately we had to hire from another company for our Dunedin-Christchurch link after completing the Otago Trail ride as you don't have a Dunedin office -
perhaps a thought for future development! While their service was fine, it did not show the special friendliness and helpfulness we experienced with Apex and their charges were much much higher.
Thanks for your part in making our New Zealand holiday one of our best ever.

No stars. We rented a car and whilst we were driving down the street in queenstown in the car one of the apex people stood in front of us in the street, made us illegally park and then proceeded to rudely berate us on how we had previously parked the car. He told us we needed a driving lesson and was way out of line with his manner and tone. All we had done was park the car with the wheel resting on the curb. He accused us of damaging the car which was impossible given the very small height of the curb. The main office apologised to us but when we gave the car back the same person-mike- again spoke to us very rudely and tried to accuse us of damaging the car again. We incurred no extra cost for the rental as his claims were completely unfounded but i have never experienced such rude and disrespectful treatment. I would reccommend staying away from this company, purely to avoid more such distasteful altercations. Stopping us in the street while we were on our holiday on the main st in town holding up traffic to yell at us whist leaning agressively through our window over something as little as a bad park is just over the top rude.

Just a quick note to thank you for the great service we had from Apex Rentals. We were all impressed with the friendly and efficient staff that we met at Queenstown, Picton and Auckland Airport. The vehicle served our needs well and felt like a real friend when we had to part with it in Auckland! It was so extremely handy to be able to drive on and off the ferry without having to unpack the vehicle and carry all the luggage to the ferry terminal. It was just like having our own vehicle all the way from Queenstown to Auckland. I have been so impressed with your service and rental rates that I have been advertising your company to all the places we have stayed at en route. So many people haven't heard of you and need to know the good news!! A friend and I will be in Auckland at Labour w/e and have hired an Apex car again.
