Kaimanga Lodge

At Kaimanga Lodge Luxury B&B homestay in Kerikeri, we actively encourage responsibility for the environment by using eco-friendly products and techniques wherever possible. By committing in this way, we are endorsed as Kiwi Green Certified.

Our on-going program of planting native NZ trees, and encouraging a wide range of birds and insects is a central part of the Lodge grounds management. We welcome our guests who are encouraged to share our little piece of "Green Heaven", and to enjoy NZ nature at its finest. Visit the local Kauri forests to see magnificent ancient trees, then come and see our baby Kauri's, planted for future generations to enjoy.

Kaimanga Lodge, Kerikeri offers two accommodation options:

Self catering accommodation in the luxuriously appointed Fan Tail Cottage - breakfast included in price, or reduction if not required.

B&B accommodation in the delightful Lake View Suite in the lodge

We cannot truly describe our beautiful and secluded swimming pool, it has to be seen to be believed. Last summer 2008/9 the water temperature reached a staggering 32 degrees, just heated by the sun. Set away from the house, it is so private and surrounded by native and exotic trees and shrubs.

If you enjoy birdlife, come and share our various species - we have daily feeding around 4pm for our injured birds and ducks(and latchers on too!).

Conveniently located just off State Highway 10, Kaimanga Lodge Bed & Breakfast is your ideal base for visiting the historic town of Kerikeri just seven minutes away ' a charming escape from the busy tourist centres. New Zealand(TM)s oldest buildings, the Stone Store and Kemp House are just ten minutes drive way and the beautiful Rainbow Falls just ten minutes.

Waitangi, Paihia and Russell are all within a half hour drive.
