Fully Licensed Chinese Restaurant in the Civic Court, Napier city, Located in the quiet and peaceful garden setting. public parking on Station Street, or on Hastings Road,walking down the driveway between Station /Dickens streets, or access from Dickens Street

We were booked into this restaurant for dinner and then read the 2 comments :-( There were 7 of us and we all had a great meal. The flavours were fantastic. It is a little "stuck" in the past as far as decor goes, but it's an Asian restaurant - most of them are if you look at it from a Western perspective. The menu is LARGE, guess that means we won't have to have the same dishes next time, cos we'll be back there!!! The reason they are not getting a 5 is I don't like Asian deserts.

The food was very expensive and poor quality. Cooking style is very dated and tasted average. It is a restaurant stuck in the 1980's and have way past it's prime.......Will never go there again.

We would like you to come back and try our food and service in the near future. New chef and English speaking service staff. We offer a clean and hygienic environment to our patrons. My family and I had our dinner in this restaurant during our stay in Napier recently and we can't say we enjoyed our dinner at all. We ordered soft shell crab and got swimming crab instead. The owner even argued with us when asked, saying that the swimming crab and the soft shell crab are the same. Very disappointed.

We are sorry that you had a bad experience back in December of 2011. It was a long time ago. We are the new owners of this restaurant since 12/2013. We have a new team of qualified Chef and English speaking professional staff, trying to offer the best possible services and the tasty food in Napier. There are not a lot of choices here back in 2011. Not much changed since then. But we are here to take the challenge to be the best. Welcome back here next time when you are in town for holidays.
