I am Malaysian/Chinese and a Registered nurse and Midwife. I trained overseas and graduated as a midwife in 1976.
I was employed as a Core Midwife in Waikato Hospital since 2001 and had worked in the Obstetric Unit (Womens Health).
I resigned in 2008 to start my Independent Midwife Private Practice.
I worked in Malaysia in a dual role in both a public and private hospital. I worked with Petroleum Shell Industrial Hospital in Sultanate of Brunei, Sultanate of Oman in the middle East and now New Zealand.
I do both primary and secondary care for women and practise some homeopathic remedies for women who prefer natural herbal therapy.
I am passionate about my work and I treat my patients/clients with respect.
I allow women to give me their opinions and encourage lots of interaction between myself and my clients.
I speak Malay , Hokkien Hakka and Teochew and understand a bit of Mandarin and Cantonese.
