17th March 2011 I would and do recommend this place highly! I have been looking for a long time for a salon I would go to regularly and after my friend recommended NU U a year ago this has been my place - Thanks Clay and other your always a good laugh and GREAT hair!!! - Larrissa (And Sharon)

31st August 2010 Wow, PiscesX3. Thank you so much. As a stylist and business owner, I strive to be the best that I can possibly be. Professional product is a field where I like to educate people on, however I will never pressure anyone into buying or using forcful tatics. Obviously I will always come across clients that I will never please despite my efforts. Its wonderful to hear such positive feed back, and on another level, its always good to hear the negative. Its something I/we can work on.

28th August 2010 Most impressed with this salon. From receptionist to the hair stylists. I have been to alot of hair salons from Taradale, Greenmeadows, Napier CBD and outta town. This has big ups from me. Relaxing and pleasant atmosphere not in a hurry to get u out the door. Finally! Found a salon that cares about their clients and not pushing products for u to buy. Clay u are an artiste thank u. I will definitely be going back and recommending Nu U Look to friends and family. Highly recommended.

31st May 2010 THIS JUST GETS BETTER AND BETTER! SHOCKING HAIRCUT X2 BY 'SENIOR HAIRSTYLIST' WHICH I TRIED TO RECTIFY BY WAY OF PHONE CALLS TO WHICH NOW I'M BEING THREATENED WITH LEGAL ACTION BY WAY OF AN ABUSIVE PH CALL FROM THE 'SENIOR STYLIST'?? NOT SURE WHAT LEGAL ACTION HE'S TALKING ABOUT BUT I'LL DEF BE WAITING! NEVER AGAIN AND I WOULD ALSO ADVISE ANYONE READING THIS TO DO THE SAME. I WAS ADVISED TO LEAVE THIS REVIEW BY THE OTHER OWNER. BEING AS I AM STILL VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME I STILL PAID FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO TRY AND FIX IT BUT WAS TOLD IT WILL HAVE TO GROW OUT AS HE CUT IT TOOOOOO SHORT, WHICH WILL TAKE AT LEAST ANOTHER 6MONTHS. IT'S YOUR CHOICE AND IF YOU ARE UNSURE ARE YOU WILLING TO TAKE THE RISK???

23rd April 2010 ONE OF THE STAFF HERE MESSED MY HAIR UP REAL BAD. AND THE BOSS/OWNER (I GUESS) NOT ONLY DID HE NOT CHARGE ME. HE THEN STAYED AT THE SALON UNTIL 11PM AND DID EVERYTHING TO FIX THE STAFFS MESS UP, AND HE SHOUTD ME DINNER AND DROPPED ME OFF HOME. TOO COLD AND TOO FAR TO WALK. MA HAIR LOOKS AND FEELS BETTER THAN B4. THANKS MR BOSS MAN. I HAVE BEEN GETIN LOADS OF COMPLIMENTS AND I BEEN TELLIN EVERY1 TO GO TO YOU. XOX KELSEY

25th April 2009 better than what I thought it would be. I used financing and was 150%blown away. reminded me alot of the movie barber shop. everyone acted normal around me. not as if they were stuck up. id recommend them till the hilts
