Domain & Ayr Cafe (formerly Kokako Cafe) named for its location near the top of Ayr Street and opposite the entrance to Auckland domain has a healthy food focus, serving a delicious range of (almost) guilt-free cabinet and cooked food and Kokako organic coffee.
The food offerings include eggs benedict with handmade halloumi, spinach and pesto; the Domain Park Breakfast - Domain & Ayr's take on the traditional cooked breakfast - which comprises slow roasted sweet tomatoes, seven grain toast, eggs any way, New Zealand pork sausages, button mushrooms - an extensive range of omelettes packed with good things like buffalo mozzarella; house-made crumpets with whipped organic butter and much more.
Everything on the menu is made fresh in-house every day from fresh high quality ingredients sourced from ethically and environmentally conscious producers and farmers.
In keeping with its former incarnation as Kokako Cafe, Domain & Ayr Cafe is a vegetarian and vegan friendly establishment and also has a good range of gluten-free options.

My favourite coffeehouse. Some of the best coffee in the Parnell/Newmarket suburb. They serve organic food. I would recommend the workers breakfast. That and a flat white will get you through any day :) fantastic service/friendly staff.
