20th March 2012 EXCELLENT coffee and lovely food. No need to battle your way through the hoards of ski bunnies and tourists here, but tables can sometimes be scarce.....worth the wait if you have to ;) I happened to be in the cafe the day 'Matagouri Lodge' came to town, and all I can say is 'people should be prepared to be treated the same as they treat others'. I seem to recall thinking she had left her sense of humour, and most importantly, her manners at home. She did need reminding!!!

Matagouri Lodge
2nd February 2012 staff are rude and the owner is loud, intimidating and inappropriate. Would not recommend if you like to have a coffee in peace and quiet!! I was yelled at in front of a 2 and 7 year old child, one of the waitresses kept barking "please" at me each time I made an addition to my order(I mean really, are you there to serve or be a school teacher?), there is some obvious dysfunction here and it is spilling out in the way they treat their customers!
