12th June 2012 Have stayed at Inglebrook Villa and Gardens, at least four times a year, in particular for the Americana and Garden festivals, and each time we were made to feel as if we were family, yet left alone when required. The breakfast was as good as any top hotel would provide, in particular the homemade poached manukau honey plums. We were surprised to read the comments from April 2012 as we would recommend this accommodation to any overseas visitor or local New Zealanders
INGLEBROOK Villa and Gardens is within 10 miuntes of New Plymouth, airport, mountain and bush walks, 8 golf courses and festival gardens.

10th April 2012 The review from our weekend guests of todays date is unfair and unwarranted, and certainly not consistent with their comments both verbally and in our visitors book (2 visits). The guests arrived a day early, specifically invited us to join them for breakfast both mornings, were assisted by us to load their vehicle, and left well after checkout time knowing that we had visitors and family arriving for my wife's birthday. We both feel we went beyond our normal and traditionally well received hospitality, and have asked these guests to book in elsewhere for future vists.

9th April 2012 Rooms are clean and breakfast is generous. Hosts are a bit overpowering and need to learn to back off. Overall, stay was adequate (2 nights) but on departure both the host and and hostess started laying in with insults. Not sure why or what started that off. Needless to say, we left fairly smartly. Had stayed there previously.
