Angithi started in Delhi, India in 1995 by Sonia and Vicky. In New Zealand, it is operating since 2003.

Sonia and Vicky have been chefs in a number of five star hotels and other catering institutions in India and China. Exquisite cuisine and immaculate presentation of foods are our core expertise.

A traditional Indian cooking oven is an oeAngithi which has been used in India since time immemorial. It is made out of a metal bucket with an inner layer of mud. Charcoal is placed inside a grill in Angithi. Before the advent of modern day cooking gadgets, an Angithi was part of every home in India. It is still the most popular cooking methods in rural India. It is very similar to a charcoal barbecue.

Angithi is used to prepare exotic Indian, Punjabi and Mughlai, cuisine for centuries. Angithi develops unique flavour and aroma to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. We have taken this inspiration to capture that taste and flavour for you.
