30th May 2012 our experience was one of being at home(comfy) with a engaging host who is Portuguese and has a great sense of humour.I had a trinchado(spicy rump cubes in a spicy wine sauce) as a starter my wife had the scallops mmmm. For my main meal i had the spare ribs.It fell off the bones it was awesome must be one of the best ribs i have tasted in NZ and my wife enjoyed her Scotch fillet. For dessert i had the Chocolate mousse and my wife had the Peppermint crisp tart which was divine.Compliments to the Lady behind the bar who kept us up to date with our drinks. Thanks guys for making it a great night out.
18th July 2013 What a delightful surprise. Went along not knowing what to expect. Mannie is a fantastic host and food is great. The peri peri chicken was superb, and the ribs are the best we have eaten outside the US.
Definitely be going back. Its worth the journey folks.
Mike
