30th November 2010 I can't believe no-one's reviewed Sushi Bi yet! It has the yummiest, best value sushi in town, and the longest line every lunchtime to prove it! (Tip: Get there before noon to dodge the lines.) And because it's so popular, the sushi is always fresh. Particularly delicious are the flamegrilled salmon nigiri - I always rub 'em round on the platter to pick up more of the sauce! You can also get huge 'end' pieces of rolls for the same price as the regular size - $1 or $1.50 - and if you fill up a loyalty card, you get a free lunch. I walk across town regularly for their sushi.
11th July 2012 I tried this take away sushi shop a few times. They have the really cheap sushi with reasonably fresh ingredients and making them fresh a number of times every day. I love their seared salmon sushi and the sweat sauce/mayo on the top. they have a variety of sushi and even keep this up when its half price time! What a great effort to do! You can always see a long queue at lunch as well as at half price period, even a Saturday! Although the rice can be a bit dry, the overall quality of the food is excellent. Friendly staff and quick service!
