Eastern Ocean is clean and tidy with a range of dining tables for small and large groups. The Yum Cha menu has the expected good range of dumplings and small plate dishes. The restaurant has favoured a smorgasbord offering presumably aligning with other Tauranga chinese diners. Unfortunately the range and standard of offerings is below par, with slightly warm, over cooked and tasteless European style fried morsels. I'd recommend a Yum Cha lunch with a group of friends but little else.
