An excellent menu was chosen by our lovely Asian friends who can speak Cantonese. We hadn't been to this venue since it changed ownership. We certainly will be regular visitors now!!

Mandarin Palace is one the landmarks for Chinese food in the Highland Park area. Over the years, it has its ups and downs. For my recent visit, it only deserved 2 stars in terms of food and service. I was invited to a friend's wedding banquet on a Monday evening. Steamed fish was not fresh; deep-fried pork-chops looked unappetizing; some pieces of the chicken still showed colour of blood (absolutely unacceptable in the food industry!). Service was slack and unprofessional.

A regular spot for my family for all the special occasions - birthdays, gatherings, and even the usual Sunday yum char sessions. The food is great and the price is reasonable. The highlight of the yum char is that they make the best chilli, haha. Definitely recommended!
