Velvet Burger is a burger establishment with a uniquely New Zealand flavour.
Their menu encompasses twelve tasty burgers in a range of tasty flavour combinations, with price points ranging from $9 to $14.
The basic ingredients of all Velvet Burger menu offerings: lettuce cucumber and tomato, are all grown in Aotearoa. The Kiwi theme extends to the names of the burgers, among them "Homegrown Hero", "High Country" and "Endeavour" (this hoki fillet burger is named after Captain Cook's vessel).
Velvet Burger is licensed selling wine and a range of imported and local beers, including Emersons, Speights, Double Brown and Steinlager Pure.
Velvet Burger's opening hours are 11:30am until late, 7 days.

20th September 2011 I have eaten here multiple times and have loved every burger, they're huge, tasty and have REAL fillings in them. Also two for one tuesdays are great.

21st September 2010 This is the only place to go if you want a burger!! They offer an amazing variety of absolutely fantastic burgers and their Velvet relish with aioli makes the burgers even more brilliant. The best burgers ever! There is a burger for everyone and you can even wash it down with an ale of your choice!! If you haven't been to Velvet Burger, you just don't know what your missing!
