29th July 2016 We have eaten at the Jitsu several times, each time has been a delicious experience. The food is very affordable, while eating in the atmosphere is warm and pleasant (yet to try take out!). I recommend the chicken katsu curry!

26th January 2012 I had a chicken salad & there were 5 wee bits of chicken in it, green leaves & scattered noodles. Was still starving after it! Had some sushi too, which was so good! One of the meals was brought put way after everyone else's. The table was in the corner & was troublesome for people getting in & out of their seats. Not incredibly impressed. But the sushi was yum.

30th May 2011 My first visit to Jitsu was ok. the service was ok and the food was ok. Although the experience wasn't bad, nothing about Jitsu was excellent either. Though, I was with good company and enjoyed the evening.
For this reason I went back for a second visit, and everything went embarrassingly wrong. Firstly, we were shown to a table at the corner of the restaurant that was by itself in a poorly lit area and with massive stains on the carpet surrounding the table. We took the liberty of changing tables and the staff were accommodating with our change. A polite server came to take our order and informed us they just run out of fresh tuna. Considering it was only 6pm and they only have 3 fresh fish on the menu, it was bit of a disappointment they had run out so early in the night. None the less, our order of entrees and mains were taken. We explained to the server that we wish to share an entree before our mains arrived.
Our drinks never arrived and we had to flag down a server 10 minutes later to get the beverages.
A moment later, disappointingly, half of my mains came before our entree. When we finished the entree, my guest's mains arrived in a timely manner. after waiting at least 5 minutes and not receiving the remainder of my main, I inquired about the food. The food turned up in a few minutes thereafter. now that we had all the food on the table we starting sharing bits and pieces to get a taste for everything.
I had salmon and 'white' fish nigiri; neither of which were particularly fresh. And the white fish tasted absolutely terrible. to make matters worse, the fish had been cut along the grain, which made it very chewy. my guest's bento box had the same stale fish and the rice was cooked in an unappetizing sauce.
At no point in the evening did the staff ever inquire about our food or beverages, or check up on us. the place was very noisy with 15 teenagers having a party there and the food was a disgrace. I honestly felt embarrassed for spending $50 for such a horrible experience. with 3 other sushi places with in 50 meters of Jitsu, i would highly recommend going elsewhere.
