8th March 2011 My partner and i went to the Thirsty Whale Napier for breakfast while being in town for the NZ Offshore power boat race. for starters the location is awesome, just down the road from our motel. Over looking the ocean. It is a trendy place with fantastic service. The coffee there is wonderful and we ordered eggs benedict, one with salmon and one with bacon, they were absoloutly devine. We also got french toast to share. We would highy recommend this place to any one visiting Napier. We will definatly be going back there, for sure. :)
The Thirsty Whale is perfectly situated on the Quay with ample space for a great night out.
Boasting four seperate areas within the building, as well as a big red bus available to hire, The Thirsty Whale can cater for all your party/function needs.
The restaurant has an excellent selection of the seafood dishes on the menu, including the Dukkah Spiced Salmon Fillet and seared scallops.

1st December 2010 I loved the seafood selection! Gorgeous place to eat or just have a couple of drinks with friends after work. In a row of other great bars/restaurants on the Quay. Fantastic night life!!! Great place to take the family.
