My wife Jane and I visited Wharepuke last night and thoroughly enjoyed the Thai Banquet which was a revelation in the taste buttons it pushed. Besides the excellent food our waitress recommended the ideal wine to accompany the three courses of the Thai Banquet. The third leg of the trifecta was the ambience. We had a table outside and the atmosphere reminded us of Ubud in the uplands of Bali.

We would return in a heartbeat. Thank to the chef and our our well-informed waitress.
