Started in 1978 by Rob's uncle Murray, Murrays Carpet Services has been family owned for more that 30 years, servicing thousands of happy clients throughout the Bay of Plenty.

Uncle Murray had the business for 15 years before handing the reins over to Rob's brother, Justin, who ran it for a further 15 years. Rob and his wife April bought the business in 2008, when Justin decided to move on to other challenges.

Along with the business came resident carpet expert, Blair Rodgers, who has been with the company for nine years. Blair has considerable knowledge in the carpet trade, and is a valuable member of the team. Blair is part of a small team, who operate in Tauranga, Rotorua and surrounding towns.

Rob and April take a lot of pride in the Murrays name, a name that has become synonymous with service and quality over the years.

"Uncle Murray, and Justin worked hard to build a great reputation and we plan to continue that trend. We do our best job, every time. There are no quick jobs for us." says Rob.
