These are the best burgers and chips in the entire country. These guys go overboard on everything - the quality ingredients, size of the meals, friendliness - but they are ridiculously cheap. Don't be decieved by the low cost, this is seriously excellent top quality takeaways. Their burgers are enormous and filled with fresh salady stuff and lots of meat, their chips are outstanding and one of their gourmet pizza supremes fed 3 of us. And they are truly delightful people as well, with a passion for what they do.

just had a hawian burger soo goood i couldent even fit it in my mouth best food and service in NZ all fresh and tasty

If you are looking for 'fast food' - well Port Ohope Store's burgers have a gourmet edge, with fresh and plentiful ingredients piled onto a ciabbata bun - really hard to eat due the generous helpings of goodness so don't forget your paper towels! Yummo after a good surf or day at the beach!

Best gourmet burger I've ever tasted! Owners Wayne and Fi are friendly, and the funky decor is just what you want on your seaside vacation. Somewhere for the kids to hang out, or just get an icecream.
