After seeing a great review in the paper this seemed like a good choice when we needed somewhere to go after another booking fell through. The menu looked promising and to be fair some of the food was tasty but overall the food was bland, portions were small and extremely overpriced. They ran out of beef and we waited 2 hours for our main. They did explain that they had a large table to serve and apologized for the wait but the restaurant wasn't actually even full and we heard two other tables complaining of the slow service. While the wait staff were pleasant they were not particularly good. I won't be going back.

Dear Sarah, The purpose of this is to convey to you my sincere apologies for any inconvenience you and your friends may have experienced on Friday with respect to our service and food. The only possible explanation I can give is that since we recently opened (3 months ago) and had a number of key staff changes which might have resulted in this kind of regrettable situations and lack of prompt reaction. Consequently, I have directed our Maitre D’ to have a staff meeting by this Monday. Please, let me assure you that what happened in your case is not typical of Besos Latinos level of customer service.
