The main purpose of the Trust is to provide funding primarily for nurses & for other professional staff associated with the Wellington Blood and Cancer Centre to assist with their attendance at conferences, courses or seminars which are relevant to their ongoing professional development in their dedicated care and treatment of patients at the Centre. The secondary purpose of the Trust is to provide facilities in the Wellington Blood and Cancer Centre outpatient department and the inpatient ward.
