YMCA Shakespear Lodge

Shakespear Lodge is located at the end of the Whangaparaoa Peninsular, right in the middle of Shakespear Regional Park.

The original homestead of the ~Shakespear(TM) family farm has been looked after by the YMCA for the last 25 years as an outdoor education camp. Overlooking ~Te Haruhi Bay(TM) and the outer ~Hauraki Gulf(TM), guests at the lodge have spectacular views and access to one of Auckland(TM)s best regional parks.

Our staff will design a programme that meets your objectives and your budget. Common programme goals include teaching and building confidence, facilitation of team building an and improving group communication skills.

Our camps offer a wide range of activites to suit the needs of each group; all levels of fitness, physical ability and group size. The activities below are available at each Y-Outdoors facility as indicated.

Holiday Camps
Each of our three sites offer fantastic residential holiday camp experiences. The location and size of each camp lends each one a different and exciting character.

YMCA camps offer the perfect venue for school groups from primary through to secondary levels.
