This has been a regular haunt of ours for some time however we had such an awful experience and the response from the team there was so appalling that we feel people ought to be aware when going to La Porchetta your expectations should be very low. We were out to celebrate my husbands birthday and two meals were brought out after a short wait. Eventually after 10 minutes the waitress came over and apologised for fluffing our order. I asked for my salad that went with my now cold pizza and she said sure thing. 25 minutes later the rest of the table (all 4 of us) got their meals. By this time my pizza was artic and my salad was missing ingredients. I passed a comment to the manager on duty saying while I took my hat off to the young lady who fessed up to her error it was still very poor form. Add to that my salad that was missing elements and there you have a disaster evening. I did find it offensive that there was no offer of voucher or reduction, therefore no incentive to ever go back there which I strongly don't think we will. It was embarrassing to have talked up this restaurant only to be sorely let down.
