20th September 2011 I dined here after the All Blacks vs France game on Friday night and loved it. Had tempura prawn with vegetables and the Yuzu no Brulee for dessert. I'm not usually a fan of asian desserts, but the apple sorbet was amazing. Nice initmate environment too. Only complaint was our waiter who tried to make us order more dishes 'That won't be enough' etc, a bit too pushy for my liking. Relatively expensive also. Fantastic food though.
Ebisu offers something new, a sophisticated twist on the traditional Japanese izakaya style of informal drinking and dining. We deliver authentic eastern flavours while remaining true to the tradition.
30th March 2012 So average! staff were so slow and didnt feel accomodating. They got our order wrong x3 times and then forgot to bring out our 2 drinks after we asked twice for them. It wasnt a busy lunch period at all so im not sure why it took until after food was served to bring drinks out. The food was super average, i could go anywhere and get the same food for half the price. When we proceeded to pay they asked how the meal was, i responded saying 'average', they didnt ask why or question me. Instead what looked like the manager went on to talk rudly at her staff right infront of us when we were paying. Wont be going back! To top it off the week prior 4 of our staff all came back to the office with food poising after dining at Ebisu!

7th March 2012 Similar experience to the below review. Food was amazing but service was irritating at times, waiters were a little pushy with the order and slightly obnoxious. would not stop be from going there again as we did really enjoy the food and the ambiance.
