These people are disgusting, rude, nasty and threatening. We are in our 80's and went there to ask if they had a replacement belt for our rowing machine. They were very aggressive, abusive and rude! DO NOT GO HERE! We will not be threatened with violence from ANYONE!

This company is so incredibly helpful that they charge $20 for emailing you a copy of an instruction manual. As far as I am concerned it makes no difference whether or not one has purchased directly from them or not. What matters here is the customer service and it looks like they have to look up these words in the dictionary as obviously they don't seem to know much about servicing of customers. If they charge $20 only for emailing a copy of instructions manual then you can imagine how much they will charge for spare parts etc. So this is not a company that I would recommend. Cheerio!!!

Their delivery service is a joke. If you are injured or pregnant, or have a newborn baby you will be expected to help move the large and/or heavy item you have hired (delivery supposedly inclusive in the price you pay). As this happened when the treadmill we hired was delivered, I made sure to say that I would be unable to help when I phoned Fitness World to get the treadmill picked up. I was told that I would HAVE to help as delivery included only one worker/driver. Thankfully my father in law was in Auckland that weekend so I was able to get him to come over. I also tried to return the treadmill early (having paid for the full hire term already and not requesting a refund of any sort), only to be told that they would "get back to me soon" and hung up on. Three weeks later I received a call, over a long weekend - luckily I was in town. I would only recommend hiring from Fitness World if you are capable of moving what you hire and do not need your hire picked up when requested.
