Yoga is a process of deepening your awareness of your mind and body.
Awareness of your body and how it moves and supports you " the principles of flexibility and strength; as well as awareness of your mind and feelings with all its habits and tendencies. Yoga, when practiced with this motivation, leads to a greater knowledge of how we are within ourselves and therefore leads to a more balanced and harmonious connection with our external environment.
The breath is an integral aspect of the practice taught at Yoga Ground.
Practitioners are encouraged to become interested in and intimate with this more subtle part of the practice. This adds depth and a fullness to the physical practice, leading to more understanding, more stability and more joy.
