I couldn't of picked a better childcare center for the children. Both girls have grown up with the creche and developed excellent social skills and more than ready for school - the transition was easy! Highly recommended!

Newtown Early Learning Centre provides high quality education and childcare in a fun, stimulating and loving environment.

We cater for children aged 1-5 years old, right in the heart of Newtown in Wellington.

We offer

We are open from 8:15am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday. You can choose from the following session times;

8.15am " 2.45pm
9am " 3.30pm
8.15am " 3.30pm by arrangement with our head teacher

We are open throughout the year, including school holidays, and we close for a three week period over the Christmas holidays.

Newtown Early Learning Centre is not for profit " we are an incorporated society and a registered charity. The centre is led by a committee made up of parents and our head teacher. Parents and whanau are able to participat
