First and foremost, Pole FX teaches pole fitness. The classes are about learning the art of pole " mastering new moves, and making them look good and being the best you can be.
The classes are small (maximum of eight), so there is plenty of one on one teaching time with the instructor during a 90 minute class.
While all lessons are mixed ability (beginner to advanced), they are personalised to individual levels to ensure you get maximum benefit from each class.
The level of participation is up to you, and you only advance as far as you want to.
The instructor, April Krijger, got into pole fitness early 2010 following an extensive dance background including classical ballet training from a very young age.
After three years as a student honing her skills combined with teaching skills from her ballet years and Pole Fitness Instructor training with Vertical Dance UK, moved on to teaching Pole Fitness as a full time career.
She's also a member of the Pole Dance Community UK.
