Opened in 2011, Big Hugz Early Learning Centre is a small childcare centre in central Hamilton with a focus on family involvement, the local community and the environment. Owner Yvonne has worked in early childcare centres for 10 years as well as having two children of her own. She has a wide-ranging knowledge of the benefits of early childhood education. Big Hugz accepts children from birth to five and offers both 20 hours and WINZ subsidies, with fees including four meals or snacks each day.
