Driving Miss Daisy BOP provides personal driving assistance and companionship for anyone who is unable to drive themselves. If you don(TM)t want to - or cannot - rely on family and friends to get you out and about, use Driving Miss Daisy(TM)s safe, friendly and reliable service to help you maintain your independence.
All our vehicles are adapted to make travelling easier for people with reduced mobility or those in wheelchairs.
Our drivers hold a current P endorsement and first aid certificate and have been police vetted. Most also have backgrounds in caregiving or nursing so can readily assist clients if needed
We are NZTA licensed, hold a contract with the BOP DHB and are also a registered ACC provider. If you are entitled to subsidised transport services, ask your case manager for us by name.
Available for appointments, shopping, outings, school runs and more. Bookings are essential please.
