Canterbury Kayaking is Christchurch's premier kayak school in NZ.

We aim to to improve the standard of paddling skills across New Zealand and help paddlers enjoy their favourite sport more.

We offer beginner grade 2 whitewater kayak courses, as well as training for advanced paddlers.

We provide forward stroke technique lessons on our lake. Plus pool sessions for people who want to learn to roll a kayak.

Canterbury Kayaking has a small fleet of rental kayaks for hire during the summer.

Our online kayak shop has a large selection of quality kayaks, paddles, helmets, life jackets, spray skirts, and more for you to buy.

We are the Coast to Coast training specialists, and run guided Waimakariri River trips in the months leading up to this race.

Our services are enjoyed by local South Island paddlers as well as those from Auckland, Wellington, Australia, plus around the world.
