Ultrasound Imaging and Education was established in 2014 to provide New Zealand-based doctors with an alternative to travelling overseas to take ultrasound courses and continue their point of care learning. It continues to be run by its original directors - Michelle Muir, Wendy Finnie and Jill Muirhead - along with a growing group of sonographers and echocardiographers. All workshops are accredited with ACEM, ASUM, RNZCGP and ACRRM and are run in major New Zealand centres & Rarotonga.
