Just a few minutes' walk brings you to the southern entrance of the park and the Abel Tasman Coastal Track, and in the other direction to the sea kayaking operators, water taxis and cafs.
Abel Tasman Guesthouse and Backpackers has extensive grounds and all sorts of fun and games to play, including; table football, badminton, billiards & pool, table tennis, basketball hoop and a kid's climbing frame. Not forgetting the large swimming pool to cool off in. Our games room has free emailing, table soccer and access to our indoor swimming pool.
And when you get back from a day tramping or sea kayaking, relax in the luxury of our indoor pool and sauna, and whip up a BBQ for dinner. Bring your calling card, we provide the cordless phone.
The Abel Tasman Guesthouse and Backpackers has a motor sailer for guest use so if you're a boatie with a certificate then feel free to ask to borrow it to explore the Abel Tasman coastline and islands.
Abel Tasman Guesthouse and Backpackers can accommodate groups of up to thirty people and our function room is available for workshops and conferences.
Abel Tasman Guesthouse and Backpackers are open all year and can offer off-season rates for visitors, between April and November inclusive, choosing to stay for a week or more.
