What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a dynamic, manual therapy that emphasizes the importance of the musculoskeletal system (muscles, bones, tendons and ligaments) and the relationship between the musculoskeletal system and other body systems. This is how osteopaths are able to successfully treat complaints such as reflux, nausea ear infections and so on.
What should I expect?
Your first visit takes approximately 1 hour where your osteopath will spend time talking with you about the symptoms you are experiencing and your health history. Your osteopath will reach a diagnosis based on your case history and a structural assessment this is then followed by treatment. Your osteopath will discuss with you your prognosis, your personalised treatment plan and an estimated number of treatments required.
Where to find us
We are located in the heart of Takapuna Beach, 505 Lake Road, (corner of Huron St and Lake road) just two minutes drive from the northern motorway. Our upstairs clinic has elevator access and is fully air conditioned for your comfort.
